Overview:
You will be heading up the existing web development team and working on a range of projects from updating existing sites and WordPress plugins through to planning, executing and launching large scale web projects. You will also support the web design and SEO teams in a variety of ways.

Good interpersonal skills are a must to be able to lead, nurture and support our expanding development team.

We will shortly be opening up additional offices so being able to manage a large, partially remote, team will be crucial.

• Extensive knowledge of PHP 5 and library functions including cURL and PHPXML
• Extensive knowledge of WordPress APIs up-to-and-including version 3.5
• MySql knowledge + PhpMyAdmin experience helpful
• Working knowledge of OOP PHP and Procedural PHP
• Excellent working knowledge of HTML4/5 + XHTML
• Excellent working knowledge of CSS 3
• Understanding of JSON
• Understanding of AJAX
• Previous management or team leader experience beneficial
• Friendly, outgoing and helpful manner essential
• Commercial experience required (preferably 3yrs +)

Perfect for someone looking to get involved in account/project management & assist with tasks within Web Design & SEO company and who may want exposure to web design & SEO themselves. Must be reliable, friendly, like dealing with people, enjoy & good at planning and organising and very meticulous in their work. Must work well under pressure and be a good communicator.

You will perform a wide range of tasks and get exposure to most aspects of the business. You will support the web design & development teams in a variety of ways as well as gain exposure to working with new and existing clients. A typical day may involve creating a wireframe of a new website we’ll be designing and building, updating the CRM system with all the recent project work, updating clients on progress, taking notes in meetings and delivering them round the team, updating websites with new content/uploading documents for clients and reviewing new clients websites and suggesting improvements.
